POTENSI EKSTRAK METANOL DAUN KIRINYUH (Chromolaena odorata (L). R.M.King & H.Rob.) SEBAGAI ZAT AKTIF UNTUK SABUN CUCI TANGAN

The methanol extract of kirinyuh leaves ( Chromolaena odorata (L). R.M.King & H.Rob. ) is able to inhibit the growth gram-positive Staphylococcus aureus so that it has potential as an active substance for hand washing soap. In this study, liquid soap was made with a concentration 0.01% leaf using base gelling agent Carbopol. optimum Carbopol viscosity 2217 cPs 0.6%. preparation analyzed including cPs, pH 6.38, total ingredient 18.62% mass fraction, insoluble material in ethanol 0.11% free fatty acids 0.63% phenol coefficient 1, Total Plate Number 4,535 g/colony. hedonic test, highest panelist response found purple color wine aroma and yellow lemon Keywords: Liquid Hand Washing Soap, Phenol Coefficient, Kirinyuh Leaves. ABSTRAK Ekstrak metanol daun (Chromolaena odorata) mampu menghambat pertumbuhan bakteri gram positif sehingga mempunyai potensi sebagai zat aktif sabun cuci tangan Pada penelitian ini dibuat cair dengan konsentrasi ekstrak 0,01% menggunakan basis Konsentrasi viskositas adalah 0,6 %. Sediaan cucu dilakukan analisis meliputi viskosita 6,38, bahan 18,62 % fraksi massa, Bahan tidak larut dalam etanol 0,11% Asam lemak bebas 0,63% Koefisien fenol Angka Lempeng 4.535 g/koloni. Uji hedonik respon panelis tertinggi terdapat pada warna ungu anggur dan kuning lemon. Kata kunci: Sabun Cair Cuci Tangan, , Daun
